I am on CQ

So I am on CQ right now and have to stay up for the whole night so I am really bored. So what do I do… well feast your eyes upon my ramblings!

So recently I volunteered to go to JTAGS (space command) school and then go to Japan for 2-3 years. I am really looking forward to it. Right now I am just waiting on orders so we’ll have to see what happens. I will keep you up to date.

Let’s see what else?! Oh today officially marked the end of my 6 weeks of sobriety. And I can proudly say that I KICKED ITS ASS! haha Really though, it was not as bad as I assumed it would be. I guess thats what I get for assuming right? So tomorrow we’re all planning on just chilling and drinking. Like old times I guess. Wish Danny were still here though. He was always fun to drink with.

Lately I’ve been working my ass off too. I guess it’s paying off too! 1 MAR 08 I will be promoted to Specialist E-4. I am really excited about that because it helps me keep with my goal of making Sergeant in less than 3 years. So yeah I am really stoked about that. Hard work is finally paying off for me, for once in my life. Part of the reason I wanted to go to Jtags was because it is more challenging than what I am doing right now. Although in the SPEAR training that we’re currently in the BCP, where I work, has become much more involved in the air battles. So that does make things a lot more fun and give me more to do so I actually feel like a part of things now.

I got my 5th tattoo on Saturday when I got off of work. It is a grim reaper on the back of my right calf. Pictures are on my myspace. Sorry Brendan I had to mention it. And now that I just got the 5th all I wanna do is get more. I swear they are so addicting.

Right now I am really looking forward to Valentines day. I actually have a date this year. And I can’t wait. Thats all I am going to say about that subject for now. I don’t want to ruin anything that will hopefully work out in the near future!

Cq is really boring tonight. It’s 2:41AM and I am starting to get very tired. Once the sun comes up though I will be wide awake as usual… I really don’t understand how that works, but oh well. I did a shot of espresso a little bit ago… didn’t remember how bad espresso tastes by itself until after. But It is doing its job. Thats what really matters right?

Well I think that is all for now. Perhaps I will add more later… or maybe not… we shall see.
