Is it just me or is the new website a flop? I haven’t talked to anyone who likes it. Not to mention they removed organizations websites that were hosted on the old site. I worked on the rowing teams website for four years, but was never notified that they were going to delete it when they moved to the new site… So now all the files are lost until School Administrators can tell me if we can get our files back… Then I’ll need to get my own website host since you can’t trust the school to know when they’ll just remove your files.

Why do we need a MySpace, Facebook and now Green Room… I think Facebook handles all you need to do to keep in contact with freinds from school. So now you have to create and update another profile… Do we seriously need this? People already spend way too much time on Social Networking sites.

Magnus’ List a place to post items for sales and let CSU take a slice of what your selling. Doesnt Facebook have a marketplace too? Craigslist?

Did the developers of the new site make it easy to upload pictures and videos? nope… I’d much rather use Facebook’s easy to use Videos and Photos applications.

I don’t think re-inventing the wheel is the way to go, but we shall see… I hope that i have the wrong perception, because I’d hate to know that CSU wasted their money and its students tuition money on new website.
